As the SVP and GM of Zillow Group NYC, Matt oversees the strategy, product, engineering, and marketing for Zillow Group’s New York brands, including StreetEasy, Naked Apartments and Out East. Matt previously served as the VP of Strategic Initiatives at Zillow Group.
Matt joined Zillow in October 2012 after Zillow acquired Buyfolio, a co-shopping platform for real estate agents and their homebuyers, which he co-founded in 2009. Prior to Buyfolio, Matt co-founded the award-winning travel website SeatGuru, which was sold to Expedia in 2007. Before SeatGuru, Matt worked in product management roles for startup and technology companies in Silicon Valley and Seattle. He has a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering with a minor in entrepreneurship and management from Johns Hopkins University.
Matt is on the board of the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins.
