Since the beginning, Zillow has been all about making it easier for people to find that next new place to call home. We started by empowering consumers with the best information — including the Zestimate and for-sale and for-rent listings — and then connected them with real estate professionals. Since then, while many other everyday interactions in our lives have become considerably easier, not much has changed in real estate. With the press of a button, people can hail a car or order groceries, yet the process of buying, selling and renting a home is still a challenge.  

Whether it’s securing a mortgage or timing the sale of an existing home with the purchase of a new one, real estate remains overwhelming – and we believe that the process of not just finding, but actually getting a home should be much easier and more joyful. That’s why we’re reimagining everything from the look and feel of our brand to the products we offer.

Starting today, buyers, sellers, homeowners and renters will experience a new look and feel on Zillow – more immersive home photos, a simplified shopping experience with straightforward navigation and search tools, and even an updated logo and new illustrations that reflect a simpler pathway home.

And it’s not just about how we look. People expect magic at the touch of a button, and with a portfolio of businesses and new products that offer people a seamless way to buy, sell and rent homes, we are bringing some of that magic to real estate.

  • We’re offering sellers an easier way to sell their home. Zillow Offers lets sellers skip the hassle with a free, no-obligation cash offer, so they can get into their next home on their timeline — no prep work, showings or open houses required.
  • We’re making it easier to secure a loan by helping buyers find and compare lenders, and now are introducing Zillow Home Loans to give homeowners using Zillow Offers a new, easy option to secure financing directly from Zillow.
  • We’re reimagining the rentals process, too. With new tour scheduling and online applications and payment tools, renters have the convenience of managing their entire rental experience in one place, making it easier than ever to find and get into a rental they love.
  • We’re connecting buyers and sellers with the best real estate professionals in the business, and our new “Best of Zillow” program identifies Zillow’s top-rated agents who provide exceptional service and who have a proven track record of helping buyers and sellers succeed.
  • We’re continuing to focus on enhancing our listing information across the board so our home buyers and sellers never miss out on critical home details. We are proud to provide more listings than anywhere else, with complete home information and constant updates.

The new Zillow logo was inspired by a signature, which is the culmination of every successful home transaction. The fluid movement in the mark connotes ease, transparency, and empowerment, which represent Zillow’s role in the lives of consumers. Our photography and illustrations draw from the new logo to convey our heritage, while leveraging simple shapes, clean lines, a secondary color palette and modern stylistics that add a sense of warmth and whimsy.

The new visual element to Zillow’s brand identity – logo, color palette, illustration and photography style and brand tone – are all designed to express the streamlined move into a new home that Zillow makes possible.

We’re also excited to introduce a new television advertising campaign that shows how Zillow is transforming the way people buy, sell and rent homes. The campaign builds on our history of emotional and personal storytelling around the challenges and various pathways to finding a new place to call home.
