[Title Credit: “All Star” by Smash Mouth]
Last night, a few thousand Zillow users (and I) received this e-mail:
Thanks to your valuable contributions on Zillow, you have been granted a Zillow All-Star badge. The All Star designation will appear next to your name throughout Zillow, as well as on your profile.
Thanks very much Zillow. It couldn’t have happened without the whole team’s effort. I want to thank alll the musicians who provided the music in the background as I posted. Most importantly I couldn’t have done it without the understanding and support of my family. Mrs. Rockinblu’s encouraging words of “No not now. Why don’t you go Zillow or something” was a wonderful source of strength. Also my sponsor, Shiner Bock beer, kept me going during posts that went on into the late hours. Again Zillow, thank you very much.
Rockinblu, all I can say, is “No. Thank you! And … pass me another Shiner!” And aapostrophe wants to know;
can i put my all star status on the resume i’m typing up?
Errrr … go for it, aapostrophe. On your profile page you’ll find HTML code to add a Zillow All-Star badge into pretty much any document / blog or website.
So how do you become a Zillow All-Star? Well, we’ll be tweaking the formula as we go but simply, All-Stars are the most active users on Zillow. They are the folks posting the most discussions, photos, listings, loan quotes, etc. New badges are awarded daily and to retain Zillow All-Stars status, you will need to remain active on Zillow. If you click through to an All-Star’s profile page, you’ll find links to everything they’ve posted on Zillow; and that should give you an idea of what it takes to make the team.
Zillow All-Stars, THANK YOU! You make Zillow.com a fun, vibrant and interesting place to be!
