Exciting news from Zillow mobile land… we just launched V2 of the Zillow iPhone App! This new version was motivated by two things: user feedback on our V1 Zillow iPhone App, and the opportunity to launch with the new iPhone OS 3.0.
The most-requested features we heard in our app reviews were:
- Filter search results by beds, baths, price, and status
- Save searches
- Save favorite homes
You asked and we responded… those features are all available now. And on top of that, we have taken advantage of the cool, new Push Notification technology that Apple just released. Now, when new homes are added that match your saved search criteria, you will see a numbered badge on your Zillow iPhone App icon indicating how many new results have come in. Then, you can launch the Zillow iPhone App to see those new results in your Favorites tab. We think it’s pretty handy!
If you already enjoy viewing information on almost 90 million homes using the V1 Zillow iPhone App, go update to V2 (in your “Updates” tab in the app store) and take advantage of this new functionality (you’ll also want to make sure you update your iPhone software to the new OS 3.0).
