Zillow has been innovating to bring the integrated home buying experience to life in enhanced markets, so people can seamlessly move through a traditionally complicated process in a connected, intuitive manner. Some of the ways we are helping buyers do this include connecting them with local Premier Agent partners and offering products that simplify the process, such as integrated financing through Zillow Home Loans, and Real-Time Touring, which makes booking a tour almost as easy as making an online restaurant reservation.
An integrated experience for more buyers and partners
This integrated experience is live in six enhanced markets, where we have evolved from testing this model to successfully rolling it out with our agent partners and homebuyers. We are now expanding this experience by adding Las Vegas, NV; Orlando, FL; and Riverside, CA, which will become enhanced markets at the end of October. These three markets will join Denver, Phoenix, Atlanta, Raleigh, Charlotte and Durham, bringing the total number of enhanced markets to nine.
Helping customers get home
In these enhanced markets, top-performing Premier Agent partners connect with buyers through Real-Time Touring requests and Zillow Home Loans pre-approvals to help guide them through the home-buying process. Products like Real-Time Touring help more buyers successfully get home and help agents meet more people who are ready to buy with local Premier Agent partners. Our data shows that touring is a pivotal moment for turning shoppers into buyers. In fact, buyers who request a tour transact three times more than other actions on Zillow.
What’s next for enhanced markets?
We plan to expand this integrated experience by adding more enhanced markets in the future. At the same time, we are also constantly evaluating markets nationwide to determine if some of these products and innovations are a fit in non-enhanced markets to help make the home-buying process more intuitive and easier to navigate for buyers and partners alike.
