Monday night in New York City, Zillow’s Real Estate Mobile App was honored as the Webby Award winner for Utilities and Services in Mobile – Tablet category at the 16th Annual Webby Awards.
And if you thought Twitter’s 140-character limit was a challenge, Webby acceptance speeches are limited to just five words! We put creative minds together and did it in three, even getting featured during the event. After channeling his inner alien, Zillow’s Justin Scott donned his red hoodie and attended the event as Elliott from the movie “E.T. – The Extra-Terrestrial.”
The Webby’s are a unique and special event, said Scott. “It reflects culture and crosses borders. I don’t know where else you can champion the silly and salute the serious in one event. One minute you’re laughing at a cat and the next you’re giving a standing ovation for a concentration camp survivor.”
