We are proud to partner with the Community Center for Education Results (CCER) and Challenge Seattle to welcome local students into our office for educational worksite tours and days of learning with our employees and executives. These worksite tours were created to address systemic barriers to racial equity, amplifying community voice and building stronger systems in seven King County school districts.

Giving back to the community where we live and work is an important part of who we are here at Zillow Group. As a leader in our industry, we also know we need to invest in our pipeline of talent for the future. What better way is there to support our community and cultivate tomorrow’s workforce than to invite eager high school students to come see us in action?

Since 2017, Zillow has welcomed more than 150 students from area high schools including Roosevelt High, Cleveland High, Kentwood High, and Federal Way High, for interactive worksite tours at our offices.

Worksite tours are half-day or day-long events where students tour our office, hear from employees in different departments, engage with a lunchtime panel of Zillow employees and ask questions, and participate in interactive workshops where Zillow employees teach them how to conceptualize, build and market a new product.

We design Zillow worksite tours to make a positive impact and support students in exploring career options by giving them first-hand insight into what careers are possible for them at Zillow. We know from our nonprofit partners that introducing students early on to workplaces where they see themselves represented makes a huge difference, and expands their range of opportunity.

Our employees are always excited to meet and forge positive relationships with local students, and we hope many will want to come work for Zillow in the future!
