A lot can happen in three days at Zillow

It’s day three at Zillow and I’m already sneaking into the blog. I figure I may as well dive right in. There was that launch on my first day and Lunch 2.0 on my second day, so I needed something just as fun for the third. Maybe tomorrow we’ll go white water rafting or something.

It’s day three at Zillow and I’m already sneaking into the blog. I figure I may as well dive right in. There was that launch on my first day and Lunch 2.0 on my second day, so I needed something just as fun for the third. Maybe tomorrow we’ll go white water rafting or something.

For those of you who read what I had to say in previous blogs or hang out with me on my personal blog, hello from a whole new place! I’m looking forward digging in and getting started.

If you’ve read my personal blog, you know that I’ve been really getting into social networking and user-generated content, so I can only assume that my fellow Zillowites planned this latest launch to coincide with my first day as a welcome gift. I love the idea of discussions with my neighbors, particularly since I just moved. What nearby restaurant makes the best cosmo? When’s the next farmer’s market so I can get some fresh peas in a pod?

And Lunch 2.0 was a great time. One thing I love about the web is that is allows anyone with a great idea to quickly and easily get that idea out there for everyone to try. And networking events like this help everyone get together and learn more from each other about just how to do that.

Thanks to my Zillow colleagues for scheduling these events just for me on my first week and thanks for giving me a spare set of keys to the blog. I’m sure I’ll be using them quite often.
