Project Blogger, the 14 week competition between of 13 “teams” of apprentice bloggers and their coaches has concluded. The competition kicked off in April and concluded with last week’s writings. The winner will be announced at Blogger Connect at the end of the month in San Francisco where Zillow is also sponsoring “Beer w/ Bloggers” (on July 31st from 5-7 pm.)

Project Blogger has been a fantastic experience for me. I had a great apprentice, Tisza Major-Posner, who was passionate about using a blog to her advantage. Even better, Tisza has done the work to recap the event; she recently completed a 4-part series titled “How to Build a Blogger from the Ground Up.” It’s posted on her Active Rain blog and recaps the last several months’ experiences. Be warned — these 4 posts are lengthy posts so make sure you have some time available before digging in.

If you’re interested in starting a blog after reading Tisza’s series (and still have time to read further), I’d recommend reading through the 5 part mini-series for new bloggers that Zillow produced back in January. Good luck blogging!
