One of my favorite services just added Zillow functionality, and I had nothing to do with it. No biz dev deal required; no pitching; no nothing. I’m in heaven.

Jott is a free service that transcribes voice to text. It works like this: set up your cell phone (or any phone) for free with an account, and when you call into Jott’s toll free number you can send yourself a message which will appear in your email a few minutes later. The wav file is also attached to the email, because sometimes the transcription isn’t perfect. It’s a great way to send yourself notes, especially when you can use your phone but not email (e.g., while driving). I send myself at least five “Jotts” a day — I highly recommend the service.

Today, Jott launched the ability to send Jotts to Zillow — add Zillow to your account, and now you can call Jott and say an address, and Jott will email you and text message back the Zestimate. This is a nice complement to “Zillow mobile“, where you can send an address in the subject line of an email to “z@labs.zillow.com” and we’ll send you back the Zestimate and other information.

Kudos to Jott for shipping an innovative new feature using our API.
