Katie Couric (well, actually “Couric & Co”) started a blog to coincide with her first night as anchor of the CBS Evening News tonight.  It’s interesting to note that despite the blog’s content today which is quite bland, the majority of the comments (78 so far) are pretty heated, centered around who will win the evening news race, and whether Katie can pull off the chief seat of evening anchor for CBS.

We’ve also found our blog’s comments to be a fascinating indicator of hot topics – just like CBS is probably realizing today.  When we first launched the Zillow Blog, we found that no matter what the topic, the majority of comments for those first few weeks centered around Zestimates and wondering if there was a way to modify home values using updated facts (yes!). This feedback drove (and continues to drive) changes and additions to our content, both on the blog and on our site.  From a customer support perspective, it’s the most instant and raw feedback you can get.

Thanks for all your comments, and please keep them coming.  We read them all and respond when we can.  And our wheels are turning furiously on ways to improve the site based on your feedback.
