This October, Zillow teamed up with Pulte Homes, one of America’s largest home builders, to give away a brand-new home valued at $350,000 in the 2012 “I Want a New Home” Sweepstakes. After entering the sweepstakes on Zillow’s Facebook page, participants were encouraged to build a “Dream Home” board on Pinterest for a chance to win $5,000 bonus cash!
Today, after great anticipation, we are excited to announce this year’s two lucky winners.
Grand Prize: $350,000 Pulte Home
Teena from North Carolina (pictured with her family above) is the grand prize winner of the “I Want a New Home” Sweepstakes. Teena was at work when she received the life-changing news that she was the sweepstakes winner: “This is the first thing I have ever won in my entire life!”
Congratulations to Teena and her family, and a big thanks to everyone who took time to enter the sweepstakes on our Facebook page and shared personal stories of why they wanted to win a new home.
Pin and Win: $5,000 Bonus Cash
Ginny from Tennessee (pictured with her family, left) is the winner of the $5,000 “Pin and Win” contest. Ginny learned about the “I Want a New Home” Sweepstakes while browsing homes on Zillow. “We currently have a home listed for sale on Zillow, and will be moving shortly,” she said.
Ginny is a mom and describes her home as “full of color, kid friendly, and organized in a fun and creative way.” She added that “the ‘Dream Home’ board she built isn’t really a dream home — “It’s full of ideas that I really want to do!” Check out Ginny’s winning board here.
