Last week we launched the People’s Choice Best Real Estate Blog contest. In 10 cities across the country, bloggers have been nominated to compete for “best blogger” bragging rights  and a sweet badge to post on their website.

Here’s a city-by-city voting summary. To cast your vote, click the city name and the voting box will appear after the whole page loads. You can vote once per day until the voting ends on August 11th.

Baltimore:

The Real Estate Wonk is in first place, followed by Realtor Marney’s Blog. It’s a close race in Baltimore!

Chicago:

Chicago Metro Area Real Estate was on top of things early with a front and center posting of the “vote for me” badge. On Monday, they had 70% of the vote, but the Chicago Real Estate Blog has mounted an incredible comeback and has narrowed the margin!

Dallas:

On Friday, The Ebby Halliday Blog posted a link to vote for them, and they now have around 80% of the vote. Impressive.

Houston:

The first response I received last week was from Tom D Plant, and he’s been proactive ever since. More than 85% of the vote is for their blog, with John Daugherty’s Houston Real Estate Blog pulling 2nd place.

Jacksonville:

What’s Up Jacksonville has about 50% of the vote, but the vote total is small. Are the jacksonville bloggers on vacation?

Oklahoma City:

The vote count is low in OKC, and a quick burst of voting could topple the leaders. Sell A Metro Home Blog is currently in first place.

Philadelphia:

The race is wide open in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Real Estate Blog and The Philly Pretzel are in the lead.

Phoenix:

Phoenix Real Estate Guy is slowly building a lead over Arizona Real Estate Notebook. It’s still close, with three bloggers in striking distance.

San Diego:

The San Diego Home Blog was out to an early lead on Monday, but in the last 24 hours The Team Aguilar Blog has shifted resources to get their people on board.

Seattle:

Bloggers in Zillow’s hometown of Seattle are competing hard! It’s a tight race between CooperJacobs’ Blog, 360 Digest, and Seattle Bubble. Stay tuned!

Good luck, everyone!
