Zillow Group Places on the 2019 Human Right Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index

We believe strongly that everyone deserves to live a life free of discrimination, and that embracing a diverse workforce not only enhances Zillow Group’s workplace culture, but is key to our success as a company. With this in mind, we are thrilled to announce that Zillow Group has received a high score of 95 out of 100 on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index administered from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC)! This index is considered the nation’s benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices relating to LGBTQ+ workplace equality, and our score reflects our commitment to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.

We also recently joined HRC’s Business Coalition for the Equality Act. The Act would amend existing civil rights law—including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Housing Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Jury Selection and Services Act and several laws regarding employment with the federal government—to explicitly include sexual orientation and gender identity as protected characteristics in key areas of life including employment, housing, credit, education, federally funded programs and jury service.
