Yesterday, at the Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) conference “New Solutions for America’s Housing Crisis” in Washington D.C, Zillow Chief Economist Dr. Stan Humphries was a panelist for the PPI’s discussion titled “Housing and the Recovery: Current Challenges” which examined the state of the economy and solving the foreclosure crisis. Broadcast live on C-SPAN, Dr. Humphries and his fellow panelists addressed specific problems within the housing market, including underwater mortgages, unemployment, weak housing demand, and mortgage modifications concerns, to name a few.
