A group of us rang the NASDAQ opening bell this morning.

Today, Zillow crossed an important milestone – we began trading on the NASDAQ Stock Market under the stock ticker “Z.” (You can see our pricing press release here, in the Investor Relations portion of our site.)

And above is a photo of a group of us ringing the NASDAQ opening bell this morning – suits, ties and all.

While only a small number of us is represented in this photo, there is an insanely talented and dynamic team in Seattle and our affiliate offices who work tirelessly every day to empower people with information and tools to make intelligent decisions about homes. I want to take this opportunity to thank the entire Zillow team for their continued contributions and tireless commitment to this ongoing cause.

I’d also like to thank our users, and our partners, who have supported Zillow over the years. We couldn’t do this without your participation, raw and honest feedback, and support.

While today is an exciting day, we’re still in the very early days at Zillow in our quest to give people an edge in real estate. We view today’s milestone as, quite simply, a stepping stone towards greater things to come for our users, our partners, and our team. Zillow is just getting started, and we’re excited to continue on this journey with you.
