Today we announced that Zillow has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Trulia. The acquisition is subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, as well as regulatory and shareholder approval. We expect the acquisition to close in 2015.

Zillow and Trulia have a lot in common, and we expect the combination of these two companies will be very beneficial for consumers and for the real estate industry. Our companies have a shared mission of empowering consumers with vital information about homes and real estate, and making connections to the best local professionals who can help. We believe this is a tremendous opportunity to combine resources for innovation that will benefit both consumers and our industry partners and advertisers in real estate, mortgages and rentals. We expect to maintain both the Zillow and Trulia consumer brands, both of which have large and loyal consumer followings with limited overlap.

You can read more specifics about this news in our press release today, found here. For investors, we are hosting a live webcast today at 6:00 am Pacific/ 9:00 am Eastern; details can be found on our Investor Relations site.
